## Write Markdown, mostly

- Headings, lists and **emphasis** work as you would expect
- `---` on its own line starts the next slide
- `--` starts a *vertical* slide, stacked below this one
- Raw HTML drops in anywhere it is needed

Everything the built decks can do, this file can do — except pull in a slide from another file.

<p class="eyebrow">Build-up</p>

## One point at a time

Each line waits for a keypress.

The class comes from an `.element` comment on the next line.

Add `data-fragment-index` to control the order.

<p class="eyebrow">Markers</p>

## Bullet variants

- The default is a round disc
- One class swaps the whole list

<ul class="bullets-rectangle">
<li>An outlined square</li>
<li>Same spacing, different mark</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>A single item can carry its own marker</li>
<li class="arrow">This one points onwards</li>
<li>While its siblings keep the disc</li>
</ul>

---

## Syntax highlighting

```hcl
resource "openstack_identity_project_v3" "prod" {
  name      = "prod"
  domain_id = var.alasca_id
}
```

Keep a snippet to about a dozen lines — beyond that it stops fitting the slide.

<p class="eyebrow">Icons</p>

## Font Awesome, inline

- <i class="fa-solid fa-globe"></i> The glyph takes its colour and size from the text
- <i class="fa-solid fa-envelope"></i> Free set only: `fa-solid`, `fa-regular`, `fa-brands`

<p class="eyebrow">Contrast</p>

## The light variant

Add `class="light"` to flip the palette to paper — useful for diagrams and dense tables.

| Cluster | Yake | Beta |

<p class="note">A footnote sits in <code>p.note</code> — small, muted and out of the way.</p>

## Full-bleed artwork

The picture rides behind everything, so the slide body stays free to write on.

## Anywhere on the canvas

<div class="place" style="left:0; top:250px; width:560px">Blocks with <code>.place</code> carry their own coordinates on the 1280×720 canvas, so moving one never nudges another.</div>

<div class="place fragment" style="left:660px; top:250px; width:560px"><strong>And they still take fragments</strong>, so placement and build order are independent.</div>

## A vertical slide

Reached with `--` instead of `---`. Press ↓ to get here, → to skip the stack entirely.

---

## Copy this file and start

Delete these slides, keep the head and the chrome, and write your own.

Plain HTML sections

Mix them freely: reveal treats every top-level <section> as a slide, whether it holds Markdown or markup.

Cards, stats, quotes

All the theme's layout classes work here exactly as they do in a built deck.
